A friend of ours is embarking on a journey that will hopefully take him and his two buddies to the 6000m peak of the Mt Kilimanjaro,
the highest mountain in Africa. Damian has been quoted as saying ….’ The purpose of the trip is to raise some much needed financial support for St Judes, a boarding school in Tanzania that provides a free education to many poor and needy kids from that part of the world. St Judes was established and is run by an Aussie girl. Along the way we hope to challenge ourselves, hopefully get to the top and get to wear a safari suit!
We are funding all of our own trip expenses. This includes flights, accommodation, equipment and general travelling expenses. Every cent raised in sponsorship will go to St Judes. Sponsoship starts from zero and the sky is the limit but Austral Lending are sponsoring me for 20c per metre…Thanks AUSTRAL.
We will be spending at night at the school on completion of the trek, where we will present all donated monies to Gemma Sisia, principal of St Judes…..unquote’
